Hayneedle Grant to Boost Ronald McDonald House Charities

Hayneedle announced their selection of Ronald McDonald House Charities in Omaha to receive a $25,000 grant. Lexie Myers, Hayneedle HR Business Partner, said, “At Hayneedle we believe that home is where life’s most important moments happen and where families can come together during the good times and the bad. By awarding this grant to Ronald McDonald House, we are supporting an organization that's creating a sense of home for families who need it most, at a time when being together is critical during both the treatment and healing process.”

This money will be used to support more than 200 days of a family’s stay. The grant will be given to the House programs, which include room for two to five people, laundry facilities, transportation, fully stocked pantry, freshly prepared meals, intentionally designed spaces for a chapel, teen room, outdoor seating and relaxation areas, educational programming, and more.
“We are so grateful for community partners that help us truly make Ronald McDonald House feel like a home away from home," said Lindsey Rai Kortan, Executive Director at Ronald McDonald House Charities in Omaha. "We knew instantly Hayneedle was the perfect fit for us as we hold the shared belief in creating an atmosphere of comfort and home. With this partnership, Hayneedle will help us make a difference in the healing process for children and their families who need it most.”
